Argo

Argo Argo Argo Argo Argo Argo Argo Argo Argo Argo Argo Argo Argo Argo Argo Argo Argo Argo Argo Argo Argo

Motor vessel Argo is the newest boat of the Underseahunter Fleet. She was built in 2008. Argo combines features of an expedition ship and convenience of a cruising yacht. Equipped with the powerful crane and the special deck, the ship was originally planned as a platform for deep submersions. Besides scientific expeditions Argo is used as a liveaboard for dive trips to Cocos Island.

Accommodation

Argo can accommodate (with license limitation) up to 16 guests in 8 double cabins: 6 on the lower deck (3 with double bed, 3 separate at the same level) and 2 cabins with double beds on the upper deck. All cabins have private bathroom, individual air conditioning, a desk with a chair. There are panoramic windows in cabins on the upper deck and portholes in the lower cabins. All cabins are designed and decorated in their own unique style with underwater pictures of Carlos Hiller.

The main deck has a restaurant and a lounge with TV and stereo system. Another highlight of the ship is a special room for photographers, located on the upper deck. The sundeck is used not only for relax during the sunny day, but also for barbecue parties and discos under stars. It is convenient to observe dolphins and enjoy sunset from a platform in the bow.

Dive deck is well equipped with individual drawers for equipment and charging equipment. For certified divers Nitrox is free. Argo supports Closed Circuit Rebreathers. Diving is ordinary done from two zodiacs. For safety radio beacons are used for easy detection in an emergency.
